The Secret of Life is to Keep Your Eye on the Ball

Well, another week here in Ireland with a new companion Elder Field. Well, he is . . . all right. I am already starting to have to push him to work so that scares me a little. But maybe it is just new area syndrome. But he is a nice enough guy I guess. He's just kinda weird. Just a regular Utard. But I'll manage. I think he will make me a better missionary because I will have to motivate him to work. There's always a purpose for where and who we are serving with.

This week has been a pretty regular week nothing to exciting happening.
At Soccer on Saturday we had a less active, Henry, come that I've never seen at church. So, we were having a Ward Halloween party on Saturday night. So, at soccer I invited him to come to the ward party and I told them there would be games and food and stuff. But I didn't think he would really show up. But he did show up and He brought his wife who is a nonmember and from there they showed up to church the next day both of them and stayed for all three hours. It was amazing what one little invitation did.
Also, I invited Olu. Olu is a recent convert he was probably baptized in the spring of this year. But his wife is Muslim and she was in Africa for like three months and then came back and took his kids away from him and he didn't see his kids for like two months. I think a big part of the reason she was mad was because one of the daughters got baptized into our church while she was gone without her permission, and she is very against the church. But anyways they had just moved back in and so he has been with his kids again. But I invited him to the ward party and told him to bring his kids and his wife came with him. This Muslim lady who had been so against the church. It was a very big step, I was amazed.
Well Elder Musson my roommate and good buddy from the MTC moved into my district and so I get to see him two or three times a week so that was exciting for me.
Well, we haven't seen Frank and Theresa yet again this week we are going over Saturday night so hopefully there will be more exciting news to report about them next week.
It really has been a slow week kind of introducing my new companion to the area and adjusting. I haven't felt very good the last couple of days either. But hopefully it's just a bug and I'll get over it.
But thank you for the letters this week. Two from both mom and dad. Jamie, Lindsay, and Jacob J.. Also For the Emails Aunt Marsha, Jamie, Shawn, Lindsay, Grandma Kathy, Aunt Pam, Dad and Aunt Oona.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOMORROW TO JEANETTE. WHOO HOO. I hope you have a good one.
