"I'm Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired"

 Well Good Morning family,

Hope this email finds you all well. I have been sick the last four days I just can't seem to get over the bug I have but I am feeling pretty good today so hopefully I will be ready to go out for a regular day tomorrow. It's weird at first I had a bad sore through and my hole body just ached. But then it felt like someone had just been punching my stomach. My stomach has been killing but no throwing up or anything. So, it has been weird but I think it's about gone. But my companion has been sick as well so at least we've been miserable together. It probably doesn't help being couped up in an old mouldy flat. But we both are about to go crazy. So anyways besides being sick I am awesome.
So sorry there's not really anything to report I have kind of been out of the loop for a few days. A member named Norman volunteered to take us to Giants Causeway so that will be cool. I think we are going next Wednesday. So that will be awesome we have been looking for a way to go, its only about half an hour away. If you haven't heard of it google it and you should get some cool pictures of what it is.
One funny thing did happen last night we actually got out to an appointment with a Less Active couple, Maggie and Tony Connoly. We took Norman, a recent convert since April a nice guy about 65 who offered to take us to the Causeway, with us. Anyways we needed someone to go with us because it was about 30 minutes by car away from where we live kind of out in the boonies. But about halfway through being there Norman notices a picture of a teenage boy on the table and asked, "has that boy been out to church before." and Maggie says maybe, she is divorced and remarried so sometimes the kids are with the dad. So then on the way home we find out that Normans daughter was married to this ladies ex-husband, which are now divorced also, so that kid had been in his house. It kind of dawned on him on the way home, and he said, " I don't know that kid from church that kid has been in my house a few times." It was just so funny. He was laughing saying you guys really set me up. Oh we were all cracking up so hard, cause we didn't know. Anyways it was funny.
Well, I am sorry I am pretty boring this week not much to report. But I am still loving being a missionary and I am excited for this new year it will be awesome.
Well HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO EMMY today I can't believe that she is already 2 years old. Crazy Crazy.
Well Thank you for the letters this week I kind of got all my backed-up Christmas mail. SO, thanks Jamie, Mom and Dad X2, Dawn and Wyatt, and Aunt Carla for the letters. It was also nice to get a few letters from friends for Christmas, Amy, Danielle, and a package from JoyLynn :). It was also nice to have lot of emails to read since I don't have a lot to report. SO, Thanks, Jamie, Aunts, Marsha, Carla, Oona, Lucille, Kathy, and Pam. Dawn, Tommy, Lindsay, Dad, and especially a nice surprise getting one from Mom this week. So, thank you all for your constant love and support and keeping me updated on what's going on.
Before I came on my mission I started a tradition on New Years day to read and study my Patriarchal blessing and then make new goals for the year. So, it was good to keep up that tradition and to reflect a little bit and set goals to become a better missionary and person.
I hope you guys all have an awesome new year filled with a greater determination to be better followers of the Savior.
I Love You All Very Much,
Elder Hancock
