Just Another Manic Monday

Well hello family far, far away. I hope things are well. It has been another good week here in the "Emeral Isle". Tomorrow is Zone Conference, so we have Pday today. But I am excited to see a couple of my friends from the MTC there. So, we will go there tonight for a fireside and some activities and then come back to our flat. Then tomorrow we will go back for Zone Conference. So, the district leaders will be staying at our flat tonight and tomorrow night. We are going on exchanges tomorrow. I will go with our district leader Elder Lance who is a cool guy from California. Well, it has been kind of a boring week this week just same old same nothing too exciting. Yesterday at church a lady came to church said that she just moved into the area and our church was the closest to her house, so she decided to try it. She is really nice, and we are going to teach her this week. Her name is Paula. Well yesterday we went and saw this guy named Jack Cantwell and he is probably about 2...

Week 2 is over in Ireland: 1 Month Mark

Well while you guys are all sound asleep, I am writing this email to you. It's about 10 after 11 here so about 3:10 in the morning there. But another week is gone. Well I have reached my 1-month mark YEAH!! I have been out a month and two days so that is crazy to think about. Well, this week there hasn't been nothing too terribly exciting happening. We have been teaching an African named Sammy who was just recently baptized, right before I got here, and he has such a strong testimony. I am amazed every time we go over there, I feel like I am learning more from him than he is from us as elders. He quit smoking and drinking cold turkey about a month before he was baptized and hasn't had any problems it is just amazing. The Irish people are very proud and will hardly ever let us begin to talk when we knock on their doors. We are always excited when a black person comes to the door because they will ALWAYS hear our message at least before they say they are not interested. They ...
Hey j ust a few more quick things. Mom that call cost me almost a hundred dollars so that's only about 50 pounds where I was calling so I was thinking it would be 30 or 40 but then I didn't think that would be twice that in our dollars so maybe we can think of something better for Christmas we will just have to see. It was so good to talk to you and dad though it really gave me a boost. But thanks Aunt Marsha, Sister Bigler, and Jamie for the emails this week. Mom, will you pay my credit card bill there like a 36.00-dollar charge still on there so if it's not done when I come in next week I will do it from the computer I just didn't want to pay it and then you having sent a check in the same day for it so I will do that next week if you haven't. Love you all see ya later. Wacey

3 More Days

Well, Hello Everybody, It has been another crazy week here in England. Crazy but good. I got quite a few letters this week so that made it a ton better than last week. On Thursday we went TRACTING! The first hour was the most depressing hour of my life. But then after that first hour we were able to teach a lady the first lesson. We couldn't go into her house because her husband wasn't there, so we just stood right there on her doorstep and taught her the lesson. It was an amazing experience kind of my first real missionary work. Nothing special really happened we gave her a pamphlet and a pass along card with our number on it but still after that it was a happy day. We learned to get past all the people who didn't want to hear our message and just search out for that one who did want to hear it. We talked to another older lady for a long time as well, so it was a good day. At first, I was really nervous because they split up me and my companion so that I could go with a ...
