Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas

Well Hope you all Have a Very Merry Christmas. I just wrote a long email and I did something so the whole thing was erased so now you are going to get a condensed version because I don't have time to write it all out again.

I can't believe that I am not going to be home tonight for the big party and for Christmas. I think those are about my favorite 48 hours of the whole year. I heard the Hancock party was fun last night I was wishin I could be there to see all my cousins.
But even though I am a little home sick I wouldn't be anywhere else, I'm still lovin the work and grateful for the chance I have to serve.
Last night we were tracting, which we have been doing a lot of because its Christmas week and everyone is busy, so we haven't had too many appointments. Anyways so we were tracting and we knocked on this door and a guy named Johnathen answered he is about 23 probably. So we talked to him for a while on the door step and then he said "do you want to come in" I think those are a missionaries favorite words, besides "do you want to come for dinner." So, we said of course, and we went in and shared the restoration with him and the lesson went really well and he said we could come back 2 or 3 times a week we are going back on Sunday. So, I am excited to work with him. I got a letter from James Gilbert on his mission in California and he was talking about how they have baptisms at least monthly if not more. I thought "what would that be like" I think the missionaries here in Ireland, because it is more difficult, makes you appreciate the little things more." The Standard of Excellence set by the mission President is 2 baptisms per missionary per YEAR and we are lucky if we reach that so it's just a little different here.
Well, Thursday was a good Zone Conference. We went caroling in the middle of Belfast so that was fun. The Stake Relief society made us an amazing Christmas Dinner which was really, really good. I did get packages as well. From Jamie, Mom and Dad, Tommy and Jeanette, and Aunt Marsha. So, thank you, thank you, thank you. It means a lot that you thought about me. I feel like I am going to talk to you tomorrow so I will tell you everything then. I will probably call about 10:00 your time so hopefully that works for everyone. This is a one-time thing so be there or be square!!! That means you Wyatt, I know you have a hard time with the whole clock thing. :-) HA HA.
Well I got a letter from Rose this morning my favorite alcoholic investigator and she has a baptismal date in January so that was really exciting for me. She wants me to come and baptize her but I don't know if President Creer will allow that or not, we will see.
Thanks for the letters this week, Dad, Jamie, The Gibsons, Grandma. Ashley C. and James Gilbert. So, thank you all also the email from Lindsay, Aunt Pam, Aunt Kathy, Dad and Jamie. I am so excited to talk to you tomorrow and I hope you all have a wonderful night tonight and a very MERRY CHRISTMAS.
