IT'S ME!!!!!!!!
Well Good Morning Family you guys are probably actually up this morning not like when I usually email. It is about 3:30 in the afternoon here. This morning we went into the heart of Dublin with a Phillipino member named Rynaldo. He took us and showed us around it was really cool. He also took us to a really good Chinese food buffet for lunch which was awesome. We tried to pay him but he wouldn't let us. He doesn't have very much money but he just kept saying he wanted to pay for us. He is such a good guy. But if you get a chance google Dublin city and see some cool pictures of it with the river Liffey running down the middle of it. Also, Jamie B. he showed us the Hotel that Bono owns right there in the middle of the city. We did a little bit of shopping as well. I got two new ties and a pair of jeans for 10.00 Euros. So that was good. I only brought one pair of jeans when I came out and I got them a size bigger than what I would normally get and then a lost some weight so they were just huge on me I couldn't get them to stay on. Anyways not like you needed to know any of that.
Well I forgot to tell you about Halloween I thought you might be interested in what they do here. We had to be in our flat by 6:00. But on Halloween here everybody lites off fireworks and there are bonfires everywhere in public parks. Like three days before you see all the local knacker kids just hauling all sorts of things to the bonfires but I guess they get pretty wild.Well, my new companion is pretty much driving me crazy but I will survive. He is fine if you have appointments to go to but if you don't have any appointments to go to, he is a lazy git and won't do anything productive, especially finding (tracting, street contacting) he like won't do it. How are we supposed to find people to teach if we don't go finding? And we are in Ireland so we hardly ever have more than two or three appointments a day. But I am whopping him into shape. Even when he is being a terd and won't go out I make sure that I am always doing something productive like going through potentials and formers and calling people to make appointments and updating the area book. But I did find out some kind of good news this moves is going to be 5 weeks instead of 8 so we will move at the begging of December instead of right after Christmas. So, we'll see what happens then. But President Creer did apologize for putting me with him so at least he knows what I have to deal with that makes me feel a little better. But anyways off of my soap box. But this week I was just thinking how I wish that I could have each of my brothers for 1 transfers as companions that would be AWESOME! We could get some serious converting done because we would work hard! Work is everything here, being diligent thankfully I had parents who taught me the meaning of work!
Elder Musson, my bud from the MTC that is in my district now, has been trying to pass a kidney stone for like a week so he has been in a lot of pain, poor guy. So yesterday we went and did exchanges with them so his companion could get out of the flat. So Elder Beckstead from Mesa, came with me to all of our appointments for the day so it was a good break from my companion and nice for him I think to get out. But hopefully he will be able to get rid of that thing soon.
Frank and Theresa: They are doing really well. We taught them on Saturday night and took a member with us and we had a really good lesson. We watched the Restoration video and then answered some more of their questions but the spirit was really strong. They said they weren't quite ready to come to church yet and they wanted us to teach them a few times before they did, but they are definitely planning on it. I also committed them to letting us come over two or three times a week and they excepted with enthusiasm. So we are going over there tonight. I am so excited for truly interested investigators I can't hardly stand it. THIS IS MY FAMILY! At least one of them hopefully many more in the future.
Well Sunday night I finally made Elder Field go tracting and we tracted into this Irish lad about 21 and we knocked on his door and he let us in, and we taught him a first and he was just so hungry for the truth he asked us so many questions and was so interested. We are going to see him again Sunday night so hopefully that will turn into something as well.
Well same old same here. Im doing really well actually despite my companion. I find great joy in being obedient. There are so many dodgy missionaries that do so much stupid stuff that it gives me an even greater desire to be obedient.
