Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, I hope you guys all have a great Thanksgiving tomorrow. I wish I was going to be there to see everyone and to go shopping on Black Friday with Jamie and Wyatt but those days will come again in two years. But less than a month till Christmas so that is exciting. It feels weird to think things are still going on back home without me, it feels like everything should be exactly how it was when I left. But I do think Sister Sharpe, Bishop's wife who is from Arizona, is going to feed us Thanksgiving Dinner tomorrow night. Not till like 8 though so we'll work all day and then go there to eat so I am excited about that. She always takes good care of us. She loves me too because she's from Arizona and well . . . who wouldn't? haha

Today I am in Bray again we spent all day yesterday and we will go back to Clonsilla in a couple of hours. But exchanges were good yesterday me and Elder Beckstead went with Elder Hildebrand. Yes, Elder Beckstead is still in a trio with us which has been a lifesaver for me. I think his companion is getting back at the end of the week. It's funny how Heavenly Father answers our prayers I was praying for strength and help to deal with my companion, and he sent me another missionary to live with us for a couple weeks. He is there and he listens when we speak to him. But transfers are next week so we will see what happens. President said he wasn't going to move hardly anybody unless he had to so I will probably stay in my area with Elder Field for 7 more weeks. Which won't be the best, but time goes by fast no matter what and I will make it the best. Plus, I am still really excited to be in my area and have a lot of work to do so hopefully Elder Field will be motivated so that we can accomplish a lot.
Well, an update on Rose and Joe. They are doing much better now it's been over a week again with no drinking. When we were there last time Rose said that she's ready to be committed to our church. Joe asked me to come in the other room with him and so I went in the kitchen alone with him and he talked to me about his frustrations with life and when he was done, I was like Joe you need to let us teach you with Rose and you need to start coming to church with her. HE SAID YES! We've never taught Joe before. So, they promised to come to church on Sunday and we are going to start from the beginning and teach them everything again. Rose is ready to be baptized but we want to teach them together and hopefully they will make that commitment together. So that was a miracle.
Frank and Theresa are still doing good we haven't seen them in like a week because they have been out of town, but we should be able to continue teaching them this week.
We were tracting on Sunday night for like three hours and it was FREEZING!! I don't think I've ever been that cold in my life, but we just kept knocking doors because we didn't have any appointments, I made Elder Field go tracting, and we knocked this one door and the lady was really nice to us but wasn't interested so we said good bye and were walking out of her drive and she yelled for us to wait and she ran inside and gave us each a handful of chocolate. It was really nice it gave us a boost, sometimes even people that aren't members are nice to us. Anyways so we kept on tracting and almost the last door we knocked on we talked to this guy and he was interested and I pretty much gave him the first lesson right there on the doorstep and gave him a book of Mormon and committed him to read and pray and he said he would. So hopefully we will be able to teach him. But it's always the last door. Funny how we have to work for things, but after we work for it its worth so much more!
Also, we have been working a little in Elder Beckstead's area because his companion is gone. Anyways, one of their investigators, Lyndee was baptized like two weeks ago and he called her to see how she was, and she was having a really hard time with some things so we told her we would be over that night. So, we went over and resolved some of her concerns. And it's kind of funny that morning I was reviewing my general conference notes and in them I don't even know who said they were talking about how often to we use our priesthood to bless the lives of others? and so this thought came to me while we were at Lyndees and so I asked her if she would like a blessing and explained blessings weren't just for the sick but for comfort as well, so I continued to give her a blessing and she was crying, the spirit was very strong and it's just what she needed. I've given probably 10 blessing on my mission so far and every time I am so thankful that I am worthy to do these sacred ordinances. So that was good.
Well, nothing else new we saw the sun rise this morning and we hiked Bray head again it was very beautiful, a good start to the day.
Congratulations to Cody for making the NFR that is way exciting, best of luck I will be praying for your success. Happy Birthday to TRYSTEN on Friday. I hope you have a good one.
Thanks for the Package Rinda the container and kool-aid was awesome!! It was perfect, exactly what I needed. I have been enjoying the kool-aid. Thanks for the letters too, Tyree and Trysten. Also Mom and Dad, Jamie and Grandma for letters. Aunt Marsha, Tommy, Aunt Pam, Wyatt, Lindsay, Dad, Grandma Kathy, and Sister Bigler for the emails of encouragement. I loved the pictures of Emmy and TJ I hadn't got any since I left and I couldn't believe how big they are!! Emmy looks different she looks like someone but I couldn't figure out who but then I figured it out. I can't believe how much Emmy looks like mom's baby pictures if you take away the hair her face looks a lot like moms.
