Another Week
Hello Family,
It has been another good week here in Ireland. Even though we did hear the news of Paul Neuman dying! What is this world coming to, what is Sundance without Butch? :) Well, it is getting COLD here. Last week from about Sunday to Sunday it was beautiful sunshiny weather the whole week but then Monday hit and it's been cold this week. I guess it was kind of the calm before the storm. I am going to have to get me a good pair of gloves.Well, this week a kind of funny thing happened to us. We were going through a Less Active list of members trying to find where they live and stop by. We stopped by a guy's house by the name of Martin Fox. When he opened up the door, he let us in and then I recognized a couple of the kids that were there at his house where the kids of one of our new investigators, Catrina. Anyways it turns out that Catrina is his daughter-in-law and those are his grandkids. It was just kind of a funny experience. Hopefully that will help us to kind of have a connection with Catrina to help her to get more motivated for the church.
Also, this past week. President Creer had asked us to go by to each of the members' homes and share Elder Bednar's talk from last conference called Ask in Faith. Which is about member missionary work and how they work with missionaries. Anyways we went by to a family called the O'Farrels and taught them the lesson they are a good strong active family. The dad has been the bishop and is now on the high counsel. The dad's dad is the Stake Patriarch. Anyways we shared the talk with them and then we were just talking with them after and Sister O'Farrel asked what food we missed, and I said that I missed Sunday dinner, roast, potatoes and gravy. So, she said okay I will make that for you on Sunday. So, we went home with them after church on Sunday and had a really good Sunday dinner that tasted like home. I thought it was so nice of her. Also, a couple weeks ago we went to the Senior Missionary Couple the Campbells that live in our area to dinner and I thought about Grandma Kathy feeding the missionaries on her mission and how it comes around.
Another cool thing that happened this week is we went over to a recent converts house named Sunny, African, and we read a few scriptures with him and somehow we got to talking about the second coming and we explained to him that Christ would reign during the millenium and he got really excited, I guess it was a new concept for him, but he thought that was the greatest thing in the world he said "Thats why I Love this church."
Well, our investigator Joel, 16-year-old African, is still making progress and should be good to go to get baptized on the 11th of October. So, it is fun to work with him and to see the changes that he is making in his life to prepare for baptism.
Well, no really amazing experiences this week. It's just kind of cool lately it just seems that we have been in the right place at the right time a lot lately. In the last two weeks we've been able to give three blessings and just see the Lord guiding us as a companionship it is very humbling to think that maybe the Lord trusts us with the work he has for us to do.
Well, we are getting really excited for General Conference. It's kind of weird here just because of the time difference. So, Saturday night from 6-8 we will get the Saturday morning Session Live. Then Sunday at 10-12 we will get a recording of priesthood session. 1-3 recording of Saturday afternoon. 5-7 a live Sunday morning and then we won't be able to watch the Sunday afternoon session because it's from 9-11 and we have to get back to our flat by 9:00. But I am really excited to hear the prophet and twelve apostles speak to us.
Somebody asked me, I think it was Lindsay, if how I felt about America had changed since living here or if I like some of the things the Irish do better. Well I have three words to say to that I LOVE AMERICA. It's amazing how much I see now that we have that I didn't see before. I am so grateful to be from America and even more I am so so, so, so, so, grateful to be from Taylor Arizona. It's funny how much the Irish people are interested in American politics. Because it effects there economy so much what happens in America they are all looking forward to the election as well and all have their own ideas about who's going to win. Because the government here gives businesses hear a HUGE tax break there are lots of big companies from America. Like Intel has a big headquarters over here and a lot of big corporate names like that. But anyways no doubt about it I miss the home of the brave.
Well thanks this week to Jamie for two letters. Mom and Dad for their letters and Aunt Orva for hers it was good to hear from you. I usually read your letters 3 or 4 times. Thanks also to Sister Bigler, Jamie, and Aunt Marsha for the emails. I hope you all have a great week and are doing well.
I Miss you all a ton, and I love you so Much.

P.S. Mom About the iPod Wall Charger and ipod and then there should be a WHITE cord somewhere that goes from the ipod to the wall charger so if it goes to the end of the ipod and into the end of the wall charger it's the right one. It's the same one that dad charges his on the computer with. I LOVE YOU MAMMA.
