End of Week 4 in Ireland

Well, another week has come and gone well almost a week and a half since I last emailed so that is crazy. I am glad to hear that Tyree's baptism went well I'm sure it was an amazing day. Well, it has been a good week. Zone conference was really good. It was really nice to see my two friends that I got really close to at the MTC. They are both in my zone. So, it was good to catch up with them. We heard from the Zone leaders, the AP's and President and Sister Creer. I Love the mission president and his wife already. When we got here, they said that we were their first group that they wouldn't be here when our mission is over. They leave about two weeks before us so that is kind of a bummer so I will have a new mission president for only two weeks at the end. But anyways it was really good. I became really good friends with this Elder, one of the AP's, from Mesa because we knew some of the same people because his cousins live in Snowflake. But anyways he is leaving in a couple weeks so that will be sad. Also, another connection from home there is a couple hear from Idaho and the sister's sister lives in Taylor and I knew her so that was cool to make that connection to home as well. It is sister Pember I don't know if you guys know who that is they are in Grandma Hancock ward, they had a son my age that's on a mission now in Honduras. Anyways. After zone conference the district leaders came back to our flat and stayed the night and we had exchanges that night which was good I went with Elder Lance the District leader and we taught one lesson and then we tracted for a couple hours, but it was good to kind of get someone else for a little while. Not that I don't love my companion but sometimes you just need a break.

Yesterday we went down to a town named Bray for district meeting it is about an hour and 15 minute train ride from where I live and about half way down the train breaks through trees and you ride along the ocean for the last half. I felt like I saw halfway for the first time yesterday. It was beautiful. The beach with the rocks was really cool hopefully I get to serve somewhere like it someday, instead of in Clongeria. (we call it that because it's like little Nigeria here).
Well, this week I got in my first bashing session. At church on Sunday a lady came to church from off the street and said that our church was the closest one to their house so that is why she came to it. She stayed for all three hours and so we were really excited because that doesn't really happen here. Anyways so we made an appointment to go by and see her later in the week. So, we went by on Saturday finally and we started teaching here and her friend walks into the room and she introduces us and tells us that he is a Presbyterian minister. So, he starts in on us saying that they are Christians and Mormons aren't Christians, so he didn't want us there. We explained to him that we are Christians but he wouldn't really listen he just kept saying no you guys aren't Christians so we bashed with him awhile we got tired of him being a retard and we left. I was so frustrated I wanted to punch this guy in the face because he was a jerk. But then I thought as a missionary I shouldn't be thinking those things about him, I should be sad that he wouldn't listen to our message and find the truth for himself and love him anyways. So that was a good lesson for me to learn.
Also, on Saturday the zone leaders had a baptism, they go to the same ward as us and their area is right next to ours, anyways so went and helped with that and it was a really great experience. I said the opening prayer and was one of the witnesses but he was such a good guy. An African of course and ready to make those commitments with his father in heaven it was really cool.
We also had president Interviews on Monday, so it was good to go up to Finglas and talk with the president for a while and receive counsel from him. One thing that was kind of frustrating though was that we got new council from the general authorities for all missions to have dinner appointments over with by 6:00. Well, European society doesn't work like that. Dinner is between 7-9 here their days are just different they start work later. So, we had one appointment every week with the family that feed us every week and we can't go there anymore because the husband works until 6:00 and we can't be home with the wife. And then were lucky if we get one other appointment but they're always like at 7. So, I really realistically think that we will really not have any dinner appointments ever anymore so that is kind of a bummer we always looked forward to Tuesday nights because it was our one good meal for the week. But I guess the important thing is that we are obedient. I don't really care about having dinner appointments except on Sundays it's kind of depressing to come home and eat ramen noodles, but we haven't had one appointment on Sunday anyways. but anyways there is my little rant for the week sorry.
But the work is good we don't really have any serious investigators, but we are working with some good people.
Question answering time:
Yes mom it is really easy to change money here there is bank right by the library where we email so we just go there. I had about 20 pounds left so I went and traded them and the banks usually give you the best rate anyway.
I don't have a hard time understanding them anymore they usually do pretty good. Sometimes Africans yes, they are hard but usually I do pretty good.
Rain: I think I have had two maybe three days where it hasn't rained, and it usually will rain stop for 30 minutes rain stop for 30 minutes but ya pretty much every day.
Jamie most of the people from Nigeria are pretty recent within the last 5 years so they just came here for work.
Well I hope you guys had fun on Labor Day. When do Ashton and Brock Leave? How is the new house coming Jame? I wish I could hear Kaiden Talk.
Well thanks this past 10 days to Mom for three letters, Dad for two, and then Jamie, Grandma H., Lindsay, Jarom O. Lauralyn, and Joylynn.
Also, the emails from Dawn, Rinda, Jamie, Sister Bigler, And Tommy So thanks all of you. By the way I can't view the pictures you send over emails so if you could send them in the mail that would be great. Hope you guys have a great week. I Love and Miss You all,
