End of Week 5!!!

Well Good Morning Family,

I hope you guys have all had a really amazing week. I am in a city named Bray this morning we got up yesterday and came and we had exchanges yesterday and district meeting and then we got up this morning and watched the sun rise over the ocean, it was BEAUTIFUL, amazing!!! And then there is a mountain thing called Bray Head here that we hiked to the top of its a pretty good little jaunt probably about a mile up but it was so beautiful to see the rocky hills fall into the ocean and the fields below and the city below I am sending pictures in my letter today , if not next week, but anyways it was really amazing what Ireland is supposed to look like.
Well, this week has been good. Me and our district leader Elder Lance tracted into an Irish Lady about 25-30 a couple of weeks ago when we were on exchanges, and she let us make an appointment to go back. So, me and Elder Greer went back this week and taught her the first lesson and it went really well I am excited because her husband and kids were there listening as well. They liked having us come over and made an appointment for next week. They are pretty strong Catholics though and usually that's hard to push through. When we walked into their living room there was two pictures of the Pope on their mantal so hopefully we can get past the Catholic thing. But I am really excited to be working with a whole family!
Also, an African named Sammy got baptized a couple weeks before I got here so we are still working with him and when I got here we taught him a big lesson about the Temple and how that he needed to prepare himself so that in a year he can attend the temple. Then as we were teaching him on Monday he said " everything I do now I do to prepare myself for the Temple" it was really awesome to see the importance of the temple finally sink into him, plus he was also really excited to do the temple work for his parents who are already passed on. When I left Wyatt told me it wasn't about seeing them in white once but about seeing them in white twice and I think that is the most important think but not only to see them in white in the Temple but to see that they are white the rest of the eternities. Anyways I just gained an even stronger testimony of temples this week. I miss being able to go to the temple all the time. Thats one of the very first things I am going to do when I get back.
We are also teaching a Romanian man named Catilin. He actually understands most things pretty well but there still is a little bit of a language barrier there. We taught him the first lesson on Wednesday night, and he had four of his Romanian friends that were there listening to our message, and he was kind of translating for them. But the spirit was really strong and I think we really made an impression on him. I felt like that was the best lesson that I have been a part. It was awesome.
Well not really much new here every day I love missionary work more and it's becoming easier to grasp the time that I have here.
Well Happy birthday today to Tayli and Uncle Gail! Tayli is probably walking and everything like crazy now give her a kiss for me I wish I could see how big, or maybe how littler she's getting.:) Happy Birthday to Jamie Boy on Sunday!!!
Well thanks for the letter this week Shawn (and Brother Skinner). But I usually get my letters on Tuesday and Wednesday from the week before so I haven't been home so there are probably some there. Thanks for the emails, Jamie, Tommy, Rinda, Dawn, Aunt Oona and Sister Bigler.
I hope you guys all have a good week send me pictures of the kids I want to see how big they are getting.
I Love You and Miss you,
Elder Hancock

But my iPod is in the box with the ihome speaker thing in the top of my closet it is a white box. Then just send it how it is and I can delete some of the stuff on it but I want some of the church music that is on there. Please, Please, Please. "and honey I miss you and I'm being good. I long to be with you if only I could." SONG? Honey, Bobby Golsboro

P.S.S. One other thought that I had this week I was thinking about the pre existence and then I kind of thought of leaving heaven to come to earth and comparing that to leaving home to come on a mission. I bet all of us were really scared especially since we knew that we were going to forget everything that we knew before. We knew that we were not going to see our home for a long time, not be with our Heavenly Parents for a long time and miss our family there. But we knew it was the plan that Heavenly Father had for us, so we did it for that reason alone. And just like we are rewarded for the rest of our lives here on the earth with blessings form our father in heaven for serving a mission, we will be rewarded in the eternities for the lives that we live here for following his plan for us for taking that leap of faith and coming here. Oh what a thought. Another thought, do you think our Heavenly Father and Mother get homesick for us, I bet they do, I bet they wish they could hold us and be with us. After thinking about those things, it kind of made things a little bit more clearer and help me understand our father in heaven better. Just some things I was thinking this week. I LOVE YOU ALL
